First I’d like to apologize for the recent stagnancy of our site!! YOJIMBO has been in the studio recording our first full album and well…the website is the last thing on our mind. Although we do plan to revamp the site, and clean it up a bit so our gigs, news, and recordings are more accessible, hopefully in time for our new album!!
We’ve been working really hard on this new album and very pleased with the ruffs of the sessions so far. Adam and I have been going into the studio with Daniel Castillo mixin, editing, and chop chompin up tunes, and as draining as that process is, it’s paying off. We actually just got back from a session with him and few hours ago and the actual music end of the cd is almost done!! Once that’s finished we’ll get together album art (which is going to be hand drawn by our good friend Jacob Edwards), a band pic, and where we’ll print it. Woohooooo!!

Yojimbo is very excited to play with e.company, and Righteous Buddha this Thursday June 23rd at Tipitina’s!! Yojimbo will hit at 9 p.m. e.company at 10 p.m. and Righteous Buddha at 11:30
We’re also playing this sat June 25th at Maison on Frenchmen at midnight!!
